Sox & Martin Cuda Raffle Winner Drawn at 2011 Mopars at the Strip April 10, 2011
Las Vegas, NV. -- April 10, 2011 -- Bill Sefton from Mr. Norm’s Garage announced today that the drawing for the Sox & Martin Super Street Cuda that has been the centerpiece of a yearlong nationwide charity drive for the benefit of the Ronnie Sox Foundation was held this afternoon at Mopars at the Strip in Las Vegas.
Buddy Martin and Diane Sox were both on hand for the drawing. Buddy personally mixed up the tickets, after which a spectator in the stands was chosen at random to pull the winning entry. Diane Sox read the name of the winner, Robert Duclos, over the PA system and everyone in attendance eagerly waited for him to come forward to claim his incredible prize. When there was no response, Buddy Martin pulled out his cell phone and called the phone number that was written on the winning ticket. Robert Duclos answered the phone and Buddy gave him the good news that he had just won the Sox & Martin Super Street Cuda.
At the end of the festivities, Bill Sefton said “It’s been a real privilege working with Diane Sox, Buddy Martin and the Ronnie Sox Foundation. The proceeds from the Sox & Martin Super Street Cuda Raffle will help make a real difference in the lives of many people and we are honored to have been a part of such an important program. Thanks to everyone who participated and helped make this such a success.”
